The start of Visionite
A Christmas dinner in 2017 between two friends evolved into something bigger than an ordinary conversation. What begins as discussions about job satisfaction, company culture and what it actually means to be a good employer ends in a decision: to build a new IT consulting company – with people in focus.
The following year, Erik and Mattias start the company One Group, with a clear ambition to challenge an IT consulting industry that they both saw had stuck in outdated structures. In 2023, the vision was united gathered in a new name – Visionite.
Mattias has a background in entrepreneurship and recruitment and is behind companies such as Professionals Nord, SWTQ and Mathis Invest. Erik comes from the IT world, with deep technical understanding and experience of the consulting industry from the inside – where he has seen both the potential and the shortcomings in how people and skills are utilized.
Together, they combine business drive, industry experience and technical expertise. The conclusion was simple: the IT consulting industry didn’t need more people doing the same thing – but players who dared to do it differently.
Today, Visionite is an IT consulting company focused on creating long-term value for both clients and consultants. Since 2025, Visionite has been part of Inwero Group, a group founded by the same entrepreneurs with a focus on acquiring and developing successful IT consulting companies in the Nordics.
